JOHN CRAWFORD – Managing Director, Retail Management Division As Managing Director of the Retail Division, John brings 30 years of global beverage retail operations and management experience to the team. He has extensive experience in the PepsiCo network, both in Company-owned and franchise systems. He has been Chairman, President or a director of several Industry Associations including 2 years as President of the Australian Soft Drink Association. He has a broad-based experience in Sales, Marketing and Distribution functions in the beverage industry. He was President of Maritime Beverages, the largest Pepsi-Cola Bottler in Eastern Canada, and Managing Director of Pepsi-Cola Australia ,Canterbury Brewery New Zealand, and Pepsi-Cola Bottlers New Zealand. He was Managing Director of the largest Brewery in the south island of New Zealand, and has both managed and owned retail and HOD bottled water companies. John also has experience on the supply and recycling aspects of the industry. He was Director of Twin Pack Atlantic a co-operative supplying packaging to the beverage industry. Additionally, he founded Encorp Atlantic, the first Canadian recycling corporation. He is committed to working with industry to find solutions to environmental issues. He specializes in the retail business environment, with experience in successfully turning around ailing companies through sound business analysis, strategic planning, and operational leadership designed to build value in the organization. Most recently, John was a Managing Partner of a beverage import/export business.
